Welcome to the CVD (Commodity Vendor Declaration) - eDEC website.

These declarations provide grain growers, horticultural growers, fodder growers and feed suppliers and livestock producers with an easy-to-use risk management tool to reduce the risk of meat contamination from stockfeeds that may contain residues from chemical treatments associated with the production or storage of livestock feed.

There are five Safemeat stock feed and fodder vendor declarations which may be received when stockfeed is bought by a livestock producer:

  • Two commodity vendor declarations
  • Two by-product vendor declarations
  • One fodder vendor declaration

Stock Feed Manufactures provide the SFMCA declaration and the Australian Fodder Industry Association the AFIA declaration.

Note:
If you are a producer registered in Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) and use LPA NVDs please register through your LPA User Profile. (see information at the bottom of the screen)
If you are a livestock selling agent and used the eDEC Agent Emergency NVD program please do a new registration.

There are two options of the program available:

  1. eFORM online (Use the eFORM program from a web browser.)
  2. eFORM offline (Download and use the eFORM program from your desktop.)

The following steps will allow you to: register, download the program and the form pack, activate your account, login and get tokens, download your tokens. Your tokens can be used across all five declaration form types.

Option 1: eFORM online (Use the eFORM program from a web browser.)

Step 2: Activate your account - You will receive an email. Click on the link to activate your account. Show me how
Step 3: Login to the eFORM online program here  
Step 4: Select a form (from Available Forms)  
Step 5: Select Download tokens button to get forms (top left corner)  
To Create a Form:
  • Select the form type required
  • Click Next
  • Select Add New Form

Option 2: eFORM offline (Download and use the eFORM program from your desktop.)

Step 8: Select the purchased form type (from Available Forms)  
Step 9: Select Download tokens button to get forms (top left corner) Show me how
To Create a Form:
  • Select the form type required
  • Click Next
  • Enter Login - Click on the drop-down menu to select your User ID.
  • The User Name section will pre-fill when the User ID is selected.
  • Enter you Password
  • Click OK
  • Click Next

NOTE: The eFORM program does not work on Mac computers.

If you are a producer registered in Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) and use LPA NVDs please register through your LPA User Profile. This will enable you to use eDEC NVDs as well as stock feed declarations.
The eDEC offers producers a significant cost saving (up to 40%) compared with the LPA NVD printed version. The eDEC simplifies the completion process as it takes producers through the components of an LPA NVD/Waybill step-by-step and can be printed once completed.
